If you have been with us for more than a couple of weeks, I’m sure that you fully understand the imminent threats to medical freedom that are present during a declared state of emergency.  Our overbearing Governor, Tom Wolf, has continually demonstrated a lack of cooperation with our legislative body over the past weeks and months. His unwavering alignment with the vaccine-promoting PA Secretary of Health as well as his public alignment with governors of neighboring states (only the Democrats, not all of the neighboring states), while refusing to collaborate with the men and women whom WE ELECTED to represent us, has rendered the voting citizens of Pennsylvania totally disenfranchised.  

The General Assembly of PA – which is the name for the combined House of Representatives and State Senate – has one tool that can bring an end to the gross imbalance and abuse of power exhibited by Governor Wolf.  That is the passing of concurrent resolutions – meaning identical resolutions passed in both the House and Senate – that call for an end to the State of Emergency (also called the Disaster Declaration). It is the disaster declaration invoked by Governor Wolf that enables him to create rules and edicts without approval of the legislature.  Ending the emergency will restore the balance of power appropriate for a republic and free the citizens of PA  from Wolf’s draconian measures and overt threats to our civil liberties.

Concurrent resolutions have been introduced in both the House and Senate.  The House resolution, HR836, passed out of committee on Friday and is scheduled for a vote by the full House of Representatives this Wednesday, May 27.  WE NEED 102 YES VOTES for this to pass.

CONTACT YOUR PA REPRESENTATIVE and ask him or her to VOTE YES ON HR836.  Tell them that you want to be properly represented in government.    With the data now clearly revealing the health threat of Covid-19 to be insignificant to the general population, it is unethical for the governor to continue holding our liberties hostage. It is likely that the Senate will wait to see what happens in the House before moving forward with their version of the resolution, so immediate action on this is critical.ACTION STEPS:
1. Find your legislators HERE. Your state Representative will be the first name on the list of results.  That is who you need to contact. (We recommend adding this contact information to your phone’s address book for easy access!)
2. CONTACT THEIR DISTRICT OFFICE:

• CALL –  With many offices closed, you may need to leave a message.
• EMAIL – Write a brief statement asking your legislator to vote yes on HR836.  It can be as simple as “Please vote yes on HR836.” If you have more to say about how this shutdown has affected your family, we absolutely recommend you take the time to share that with your Rep.  Sign with your name and address.
