Take Two FEDERAL Actions Today: Hold Chemical Giants Accountable for Harm

Normally, when you receive action alerts from PCIC, they are focused on policies impacting only Pennsylvania— state level politics. However, from time-to-time, there are action items at the federal level (Washington D.C.) that we feel need our help. In these cases, we rely on our partners at national organizations, like Stand for Health Freedom, to take the lead. Take some action today and be a voice for change at the national level!

#1 – Don’t let Congress sell out our health.

Take a couple of minutes to send this email to your U.S. Representative. The House has a spending bill with provisions that would let pesticide companies harm the public without accountability.

Tell your U.S. House Representative to pull Sections 453, 457, and 507 from the Fiscal Year 2026 Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill. See Stand for Health Freedom’s action alert for more details.

#2 – Support the Pesticide Injury Accountability Act.

Senator Cory Booker’s Pesticide Injury Accountability Act (S2324) would ensure those harmed by pesticides can sue the companies responsible. It would protect the right to seek damages and would end the dangerous push to shield chemical corporations from liability. Oppose corporate immunity.

Tip: personalizing the emails is a good step to take to get them noticed. It’s time to protect our health and hold big chemical companies accountable!
