We have so much to be thankful for this year! This past year has brought us some big wins. As our relationships with legislators have continued to strengthen, we’ve increasingly found that legislators reach out to us to ask questions – questions about our position on new bills, for helping with bill language, and more.
As we look to the coming year, we feel excited. Medical freedom and clean food and water are now discussed on the national level. Decisions in the political sphere could open up possibilities that for many years have only felt like a dream. For those of us who have children or family members who have suffered as a result of v——s, and for many of us who have been advocating for many years, recent developments are vindicating. When we as a movement have been pushed to the side for so long, now feeling heard almost comes as a shock or surprise. It’s overwhelming.
Of course, we haven’t arrived at our goals yet. We’re cautiously optimistic. Some are maybe even skeptical. And, that’s understandable. For us to have true success as a medical freedom movement, we need to continue to show up. We need to continue to do the work, and to work together. For medical freedom advocates across the U.S., many of us have varying levels of hope for the new administration. Therefore, we need to focus on what we have in common. It’s okay to take some time to process things. It’s okay to take a break and enjoy the holidays. But we aren’t going to grow complacent. We aren’t going to sit and wait for changes on the national level and just hope that they will trickle down to our state, counties, and local communities. We have a LOT of work to do in Pennsylvania. And that’s okay. It feels a little bit more possible than it did a month ago.
2024 in Review
We’ve created the following to share what we’ve been up to this year. Thank you to all who have volunteered with us and to those who have donated. Even if you made one phone call to a legislator as a result of an email we sent, or a social media post you saw, you made a difference. It takes all of us working together to accomplish big things.
We’re a 100% volunteer organization. If you’d like to donate to help us hit the ground running in 2025, we are able to accept Paypal, Cornerstone, and also checks to P.O. Box 85, Conestoga, PA 17516.
Thank you for choosing to be a part of PCIC’s mission. We appreciate you!
