Something important is happening in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, January 23rd and we want to help you get there!
A march to defeat vaccine mandates is being organized by the Unity Project, Children’s Health Defense and the International Alliance of Physicians and Scientists. At 11:30am on January 23rd, participants will walk from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial (about a mile). At the Lincoln Memorial, a wide range of featured guests will be waiting. Recording artists, prominent doctors, journalists, professional athletes, actors and premier thought leaders will give a series of inspiring “TED talks” and musical performances. Though the specifics have not been released, it will include the likes of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Del Bigtree, Dr. Robert Malone, MD, Steve Kirsch, Jimmy Levy and many others. This is a great opportunity to show we are unified against vaccine mandates of any kind!

Three Phone Calls to CEOs at St. Luke’s University Health Network
A large hospital system in PA, St. Luke’s University Health Network, enacted a new policy in all their PA campuses that allows only those vaccinated for COVID-19 to visit their loved ones. Unvaccinated visitors are not permitted. https://www.slhn.
- This policy does not apply to unvaccinated parents visiting their minor children.
- This policy does not apply to visitors for COVID patients since these patients are not allowed any visitors unless they’re at the end of their life.
This discriminatory policy, if allowed to stand, may spread to other major hospital systems, leaving those who have declined vaccination unable to see their family and friends in the hospital. This leaves many patients without an advocate and causes undue additional strain on families during a health crisis.
TELL ST. LUKE’S THAT THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE
Please call these three executives at St. Luke’s and tell them their new policy for visitors is unaccetable. It’s ok to leave a voice message if you have to call after hours.
- President & CEO, Richard Anderson 484-526-4900
- Chief Nursing Officer, President of Bethlehem Hospital, Carol Kuplen 484-526-4922
- Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, Joel Fagerstrom 484-526-4100
Talking points for calling St. Luke’s:
- As declared by the CDC, vaccinated people can still become infected and transmit SARS-COV-2. This policy does not prevent the spread of COVID. In some PA counties, like Allegheny County, there have been more vaccinated positive cases than unvaccinated in recent weeks.
- This policy is discriminatory to those who have medical and religious reasons for not being vaccinated. The PA constitution is clear in its protection of civil rights.
- A hospital where I am not seeking medical care for myself should not have access to my private medical records, nor be asking questions about my medical history. A simple temperature and symptom screening would keep sick visitors from visiting.
- No patient should ever be in the hospital without the choice to have their loved one advocating for them.
