TESTIMONIES NEEDED: EMPLOYEE MANDATES

TESTIMONIES NEEDED: EMPLOYEE MANDATES

This is time-sensitive, so please respond ASAP.

As a result of a connection made during our recent Lobby Day, PCIC has been asked to participate in an upcoming legislative hearing that will take place on November 8, 10am-12pm. This is a unique opportunity to share your story with legislators, so that they can understand how mandates are impacting employees and their families.

IN-PERSON OR ZOOM OPTIONS:

  1. If you or a spouse have been negatively impacted by injection or testing mandates including the loss of a job please consider testifying. Your 3-5 minute testimony will make a big impact here in Pennsylvania. Testifying in-person is incredibly impactful, but a Zoom teleconference may be an option. If interested in this opportunity, email InformedConsent2015@gmail.com with your story; please include your full name and a phone number.
  1. Attend the hearing in-person to support those speaking. Having a presence at the hearing shows the legislators the importance of this issue and offers encouragement to those who are testifying.

If attending in person: Report to Hearing Room 1, North Office Building, in the main Capitol building. Wear the color red if you’re able. Since the beginning of PCIC, we’ve worn red to events to boost camaraderie and signify that we’re together (this can be an accent like a scarf).

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

  1. Submit written testimony. You can submit written testimony to InformedConsent2015@gmail.com. Please specify when submitting if you are giving permission for it to be read at the hearing, and whether you are comfortable sharing your full name and the area in which you live.
  1. What if you can’t show up, and don’t have a story to submit?? Please share this action alert with family or friends who may have a testimony to submit. If we aren’t able to share your story on Nov. 8th, PCIC is still compiling stories to include in our blog, articles, and informative materials.
  1. If you’re not able to attend the hearing in-person, you can watch it livestreamed. We will provide the link as soon as it’s available.

We don’t have much time, so please reach out immediately if interested in testifying on November 8th!

After being de-platformed from Facebook months ago, we’ve decided to start over with a NEW Facebook public page. You can find us HERE. We’ll be focused on advocacy updates and practical actions you can take to support medical freedom.

Medical freedom continues to be center-stage at our State Capitol with MORE EVENTS!

MEDICAL FREEDOM RALLY 8/9/21

Senator Douglas Mastriano will host a medical freedom rally on November 9th, from 9:30am-11:00am. This event will take place on the front Capitol steps. Speakers besides Mastriano may include employees from local hospitals and potentially other Senators. After the speakers have finished, all are invited to head inside for lobbying of Senators to promote Mastriano’s two medical freedom bills, SB 471 and SB 885. This is an excellent opportunity to support two POSITIVE bills and to DEMAND CHANGE from our legislators in the face of so many dealing with discrimination in the workplace and loss of livelihoods and careers. Come and show your support for medical freedom and informed consent in Harrisburg next Tuesday morning! *Kids are always welcome at the state Capitol.
