Health System CEO Misinforms Thousands About Vaccine Reactions

In his April 21, 2021 email, Main Line Health CEO, John (Jack) Lynch III, misinformed thousands of MLH patients about reported vaccine reactions when he stated:

This is factually inaccurate; a simple search of VAERS yields numerous reports of blood clot-related adverse events.

Is it possible that the CEO of a multi-billion-dollar health system, who is celebrated for implementing advances in medical technology throughout the system, does not know how to use the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System?  If so, what implications does this ignorance have for Main Line Health’s thousands of staff and patients?

Our team of self-taught citizen advocates found these blood clot-related adverse event reports resulting Covid-19 vaccines (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson) in the VAERS database:

Medalerts Thrombosis 4_8_21

We found 39 reports of “Ischaemic cerebral infarction or Ischaemic stroke” following Covid vaccines.[vi]  Those, too, involve blood clots.

26 specified Pfizer’s vaccine.

10 specified Moderna’s vaccine.

3 specified Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine.

We also found 333 reports of Cerebrovascular accident, which occurs when the supply of blood to the brain is reduced or blocked completely.

Medalerts Cardiovascular Accident 4_8_21

145 specified Moderna.

168 specified Pfizer.

If the CEO of this substantial healthcare conglomerate, which includes four acute care hospitals and a slew of other medical care facilities, is unaware of VAERS, or at least unaware how to use it, this raises concerns that the organization’s 10,000+ employees may share this lack of education and training.

In his email attempt to build vaccine confidence, Mr. Lynch also stated, “Main Line Health has safely administered the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to more than 50,000 people with minimal adverse reactions and continues to believe the benefits of vaccinations outweigh any potential risks.”

Rather than using the word “minimal”, we would like to know just how many reactions MLH has reported, and what those reactions were.
