The Alameda County health department in California just mandated that all healthcare workers, including chiropractors, dentists, anyone working in any senior home, etc. receive an annual flu shot. Noncompliance punishable by fine, imprisonment or both.

This is for a shot whose relative risk reduction is a crappy 10-60%, and whose absolute risk reduction is a crappier 1.4%.

Apparently, marketing is everything.
It’s gotten ineffective invasive medical intervention (with terrible side effects for some people) mandated.
If you have a position on flu shots you want understood and heard, START MARKETING IT NOW.
Flying under the radar with your dissent is seen as tacit acceptance.
And that brings mandates.
