School-Based Mental Health and Informed Consent
Attention medical freedom warriors: school-based mental health is here. A child’s mental health is important; however, the form it’s taking within the education system will cause more issues than any they purport to alleviate as it circumvents parental consent and informed consent. In Pennsylvania, the age of consent for mental health services is 14. Kooth is the current mental health resource being offered in some schools across the Commonwealth. Data mining our children’s thoughts and allowing access to strangers on the internet will NOT do anything except make faceless strangers in the UK turn a great profit pedaling their technology. At the end of the day, we want people to be aware that our children as well as their data, are for sale and the latest marketing scheme is in the name of “trauma-informed” and “health crisis”.
